Another day, another random search for recipes on the net. Link to come later…
No picture I’m afraid, we ate it.
The original recipe
The original recipe:
- Pork chops
- 1/4 cup natural yoghurt
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp dill
What we cooked
- Pork chops
- A good dollop of natural yogurt - probably 1/2 a cup
- 1/4 jar of wholegrain ‘prepared’ french mustard, which turned out to be mainly vinegar
- Pinch of dried oregano
- Pinch of dried basil
Yes, I know we broke the ‘same number of ingedients’ rule when adapting this recipe, but we couldn’t decide which herbs to put in
How we cooked it
This one’s simple:
-
Fry the pork chops. We probably should have grilled them, but the griddle pan was to hand and is easier to clean.
-
Mix the other ingredients in a small bowl. Add the mustard to taste.
-
Serve with vegetables
The result
All in all, this was a very quick meal, with practically no preparation required. The mustard and yogurt sauce was unusual, but quite tasty. Simon put too much of it on his food, which apparently made it a bit sickly.
